VENICE BALUSTRADE
ARTIFICIAL STONE
Description
Baluster (from the Greek balaustion; Latin balaustium, meaning ‘pomegranate flower’) is a molded form made of natural or artificial stone that supports the top of a parapet on balconies and terraces or staircase railings. A set of balusters is called a balustrade.
Artificial Stone, also known as Mortar Stone, Cultured Stone, or Reconstituted Stone, is an alternative to natural stone. It is essentially a special type of mortar that, due to its texture and color, perfectly imitates natural stone. It is composed of washed sand, silica, marble dust in different colors, cement, water (for setting), and next-generation special additives (such as plasticizers and fluidizers) to enhance its aesthetic and strength properties.
